We are a Ugandan organisation that brings robotics and STEM training to children in public and private schools.
Our story
Robokids Africa runs robotics and STEM programmes inside schools, taught by our own trainers. Lessons are hands-on and age-appropriate, and designed to spark a passion for technology through games and building.
We believe every child should have a fair chance at the skills of tomorrow, so diversity and inclusion sit at the heart of what we do. Our philosophy is simple: children learn best through play.
Our experienced trainers make sure every class is safe, stimulating and fun.
Our vision
Every child an innovator
A generation of young Africans inspired to invent, because robotics education was within their reach and fun to learn.
Our mission
Quality robotics training for every school
To give children high-quality robotics training that builds a love of technology, innovation and problem-solving, nurturing critical thinking and creativity through play.
How we teach
Safe, fun classes
Lessons feel like play, so children stay curious and keep coming back.
Teamwork
Learners solve challenges together and learn to share ideas and roles.
Hands-on learning
Every idea gets built and tested, which grows creativity and critical thinking.
Everyone included
Each child learns at their own pace in a supportive space, whatever their background.
Winners of the FUSE Education Award 2025/26
The Federation of Uganda Social Enterprises recognised Robokids Africa in the Education category for our work bringing robotics, coding and digital skills to children. It spurs us on to give every child in Uganda the chance to compete with their peers anywhere in the world.
